The name Stubby K Studio comes from the heart of our family story.

“Stubby” has long been Max’s nickname. It’s the kind of name you earn the honest way. Through years of hard work, service, grit, and showing up even when it wasn’t easy. It stuck because it fit. Practical. Unpolished. Dependable. The kind of name that belongs to someone who builds things that last.

The “K” stands for Kuhns. Our family name. Our legacy. The promise that whatever leaves this shop carries our reputation with it.
