Stubby K Studio was founded by Max & Mindie Kuhns,

A husband & wife team living a dream.

For over 20 years the idea of a woodworking studio lingered as a common goal.

The luxury of time in the wood-shop over the years allowed us to freely create and experiment. We’ve become expert at collaborating together to make handmade furniture & gifts year after year for family and friends during milestone events and holidays.

Our enthusiasm for woodworking and working with our hands was undeniable and occasionally surfaced in all sorts of gifts and toys created in our humble workshops.

We agree, as always, to never lose sight of our legacy maker practices, knowing that all Stubby K Studio products are meant to be used, seen & enjoyed for many, many lifetimes.
